Nigel Dennehy

Accountant

Nigel qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1999 and as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 2007. He manages an extensive client portfolio of all sizes across a wide range of sectors, dealing with both audit, tax and accountancy.

Beginning his career as an auditor, Nigel progressed into tax, where he has specialised in tax planning for more than fifteen years. His deep tax technical knowledge, together with the business experience gained as an auditor, has given him a unique set of skills to provide pragmatic, commercial tax advice across a wide range of sectors. He is a member of the Irish Tax Institute and a fellow the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

Nigel has particular expertise in advising on the shareholders and company tax implications of corporate transactions, for example members’ voluntary liquidations. In addition, Nigel advises on international tax aspects for Irish inbound investment and transaction services.

Nigel advises clients on setting up and optimising accounting systems and has a strong knowledge of cloud accounting systems including Xero, Sage and Surf, and he and his team have assisted clients with their PAYE Real Time Reporting preparations to ensure they are fully compliant.
